Round patches are used to repair minor damage on radial tubeless and intermediate tires of motorcycles, passenger cars and trucks. In radial tires in the tread zone and in diagonal tires in the tread and sidewall zones.
Round patches are for “cold” repairs. “Cold” tire vulcanization repairs are quick and do not require the use of specialized tools. You can continue driving for a while after the repair.
Patches can be attached with any commercially available patch adhesive. There are no requirements for the pasting direction. In the case of nail piercing, it would be a good idea to additionally use a repair pin to seal the puncture.
